 Inferno kernel based on LineageOS msm8953 kernel with add some feature and improvements. Kernel source will be kept in sync caf tag and mainstream linux stable updates. okay enough of the intro let's move on to the features.

 Features: 
- Governors: Impulse, Lionfish, Interactive, Conservative, Userspace, Performance and Powersave
- I/O Schedulers: Noop, Deadline, Maple, Sio, Sioplus, Fiops, BFQ, CFQ and Zen
- Adreno idler, Adreno boost
- Merged latest CAF tag Oreo ( for Oreo kernel )
- Merged latest CAF tag Nougat ( for Nougat kernel )
- Merged latest Linux-Stable ( 3.18.87 )
- Disable CRC
- Implement fast charge
- Disable block add random
- Frandom
- TTL target
- State notifier & LCD notifier
- KCAL
- Exfat & NTFS
- Crypto crc32_arm64
- lz4 zram
- F2FS: updates on 4.15-rc1
- Slimbus OC
- Optimized ARM RWSEM algorithm
- Display state
- patch thermal & ramdisk
Installation:
- Download the zip file and save it into the root directory of internal/external storage
- Reboot to recovery mode and flash the zip file
- Reboot device
it's recommended to flash INFERNO over stock kernel.

    i use aosp extended rom. why my device is hot when using this kernel. I also tried in some other trebel rom. but in non trebel rom this kernel works well.

    Very nice kernel. i'm very glad to still updating nougat kernel. I really dont like oreo roms and this kernel works like a charm with nougat roms. Thank you very much.

      It's not compatible with miui but has been said like several times... So no. Cannot fix.

    Getting "decryption unsuccessful" after flashing zpx inferno 1.9 on lineageOS 15.1 20180724 OFFICIAL Oreo treble if /data partition is ext4. Works with /data partition formatted to F2FS.

    Your kernel is awesome bro. But cant use on latest RRO for Redmi Note 4 Im getting "decryption unsuccessful" every time I tried to flash. Hope you could update your work. Its very awesome kernel. Thanks.

    I managed to install the kernel, it is necessary to change the format to F2FS in System, Data, Cache.
